Meet Your Presenter:
With over 25 years’ experience in both business and technology, David Groot is the president of Windstar Technologies, Inc in Culpeper Virginia, founded in 2004.
David started his career as a private consultant working closely with a local Internet Provider, back in the early days of Internet dial-up access. In this role, he was able to gain expertise and an understanding of the many issues and problems small business had to make use of this technology. Having a thirst for more knowledge led him to advance his career and training in network topology, specifically using Microsoft Network Technologies for implementing local networks for business in the Culpeper area. This path led him to get certified with Microsoft as a MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer).
From the beginning David has had a knack for breaking down the technical jargon to the not so technical. As a technical trainer David has worked with clients like BMW, and ABN Amro Bank amongst many others developing enterprise support systems and training their system admins to implement it. He has been assisting business owners with their IT needs for over 25 years.
